Hello Joel and Jonny!

The last time I sent a listener email, I suggested the game Subnautica (and still do). This time around, I have a different game to suggest. 

Dark Souls III is a game I have been diving into and surprised me with how much I enjoyed playing it. While it is a well-known game and said to be very hard, it is challenging but rewarding. I, like you Joel, don’t like to be one-shot by enemies. While at times that can happen in DS3, that just means you need to upgrade your character more in order to advance into that area. There are different classes, weapons, and spells to choose from when you play the game, so you can really adapt a playstyle that you enjoy. 

I am someone who likes to 100% complete games, so I’ve been working hard on getting all the achievements. While the lore and gameplay can be a bit confusing at times, my overall experience with this game is positive, and I recently bought the DLCs to the game.
