RE: Baby Yoda Questions

Hello Joel and Cohost!

I know you read my email last week, but I was just about to send another one right before you responded to my first. So here are my thoughts and questions on The Mandalorian.

Mandalorian Spoilers Ahead

I agree with lots of the points you made in your episode with Jonny. It was a very well rounded show and kept me interested for the entirety. My first thoughts were that the fighting was quite slow, then I realized that I had just gotten done watching Marvel movies, which are very fast-paced fighting because they have superpowers. My only complaint, along with the ones you guys pointed out, has to do with the Mandalorian taking off his helmet. I would have preferred this to happen in later seasons, but I will admit that the scene fits well with the story.

I have a couple of questions regarding the future of the show.

Would you like to know more backstory of “Baby Yoda” or would you rather this be left up to a person’s imagination?

Would you like to know where “Baby Yoda” grew up, if he stayed with the Mandalorian, or if he grew up on some other planet?

My final question is how long do you want this series to go? Do you want it to go beyond 2 seasons, or would that be too much? If The Mandalorian ends up finding a place for “Baby Yoda”, would you like the series to continue even without The Child?

Love the show, I look forward to your podcast every week so I can fill my earholes with nerdy information.

Keep up the good work!

RE: The Skywalker Name

I was listening to “The Rise of Skywalker” podcast yesterday and when it came to the end of the movie I felt the same way. Good movie but it left me “EH?”  The writing could have been substantially better and there were so many holes left that it almost feels empty. I watched it a second time to see if I changed my mind.

I feel that at the end of “The Rise of Skywalker” they should have revealed to Rae the entire line of Skywalker, not just Luke and Leia.  I think that this would have made a lot more sense as a hole. It would have also given more credence to Rae taking the Skywalker name….

Make sense?
